I make sense
of complexity.
I'm Gio, a Senior Product Designer who is happiest between a complex system and a simple solution.
For more than 10 years, I've designed financial products and services while helping designers improve their craft. My creative process lets me explore the limits between design and technology.
A collection of things I've made, places I've been and curiosities I keep following.
01Making space for new ideas
I love bringing people together, asking the question that unlocks the room and helping a group turn many perspectives into a shared direction.
02Creating an experience from scratch
I once co-created a Mexican–Asian fusion restaurant in Mexico City. It taught me that every detail—from the menu to the mood—is part of the service.
03Thinking with my hands
Clay reminds me to slow down, notice the material and let the process shape the result.
04Staying open to the unfamiliar
New places change the way I look at ordinary things. I travel to observe, learn and return with better questions.
05Exploring the edge of what technology can be
I'm curious about AI, its limits and the unexpected things we can build with it—especially when digital intelligence meets the physical world.
06Building before everything is certain
My friend Narisa and I built a startup that joined an accelerator in Madrid. It made experimentation, resilience and momentum very real.
Good design does more than remove friction. It turns complexity into clarity and possibilities into experiences.
